Halloween, my least favorite holiday. I did channel my inner child and bought a GINORMOUS (110 Piece) Bag of good Halloween candy at my local warehouse club.
Porch light on, seated where I can see Trick or Treater’s and from 6 PM until now, 9 PM, nada. So I’ll keep a few pieces (M&M’s). The rest will end up in the Teachers Lounge at the Triangle Math & Science Academy in Cary. But that’s not what this is about.
After nearly three hours of responible not wanting to disappoint kids in the hood, I’ve sipped (Bourbon & Beer) , warmed a late supper in the oven and surfed the Inter-web thingy.
Checked the Tracking number of my recent replacement purchase of “The Life of Brian” DVD (Immaculate Conception Edition!) from Goodwill Books. It’s somewhere, between here and Oregon.

So I wandered around the news from a place I used to live, South Carolina. Learned that:
Summerton Schools in Clarendon are still 95% racially segregated.
Citadel Graduate and U.S Rep. Nancy Mace had a bad day the Charleston Airport (Disclaimer: I only took Citadel Classes at night, active enlisted US Navy with Tuition Assistance).
The more things change…..
