A Photographer's Coda

Paquita #3

“Paquita” is the title role of an 1846 ballet,  a Spanish Gypsy girl abducted as an infant from noble birth.  After saving the life a young officer in Napoleon’s Army and a few plot twists,  she discovers her birthright and marries the Officer.   I love happy endings, especially when they are danced this beautifully.  Photographed at the 15th Annual Spring Gala of the Cary Ballet Company,  7 PM Performance,  March 24th, 2012 at Cary Arts Center, Cary , North Carolina.
